About Hugues Pichon
Hugues Pichon, is Project Director at LVMH, in charge of some partnerships for raw material and leather innovation for the group. He started he career as an engineer in automotive industry before moving to luxury sector. He has spent 10 years working for Louis Vuitton and gained vast experience in leather goods production and development before taking on his next role as the Head of Quality for the brand. Hugues then moved to the leather section of the business with the first acquisitions of the group, meanwhile working for different tanneries in Europe. Hugues now works for LVMH Métiers d’Art, an affiliate which oversees raw material sourcing and supply for fashion and leathergoods brands, and as such, hosting the different tanneries the group has decided to invest in.
