We provide accurate and reliable verification of cotton origins using advanced SIRA technology, ensuring transparency and traceability throughout your supply chain.
The Test
The test is for consistency with claimed origin, i.e. a verification of claimed origin. We can confirm using isotope testing whether the raw cotton in your product matches the isotope profile of the country you understand it to come from.
You can use the test to verify raw cotton origin claims.
The Report
We can provide you with a technical report test certificate that can show the sample has:
Passed - is verified for consistency with claimed origin
Monitor - consistency with dataset is weaker than expected
Warning - unexpected results not consistent with the reference dataset
If the material test shows a pass this can be used to confirm origin. Other results would benefit from further investigation with suppliers of cotton to understand true raw material source.
Materials that can be tested:
We can test a wide scope of cotton samples from any point in the supply chain including:
- Pure cotton
- Raw
- Processed
- Dyed
- Dual (blended)
- Cotton blended with synthetic materials such as Polyester, Acrylic
- Finished article
