Product Focus:  Surface Swab Test

Eurofins is a world leader in the provision of clinical diagnostic testing and can now offer a Surface Swab Test  as part of their COVID-Response Testing.

The Surface Swab Test can be used to test for the presence of SARS-CoV-2, the virus causing the respiratory disease COVID-19.

Using a simple swabbing process that you undertake in your workplace, this diagnostic testing tool from Eurofins gives you the ability to test environmental surfaces, quickly, easily and cost-effectively, and so supporting a safer return to work.

How the Surface Swab Test Works.

The Surface Swab Test is designed to detect the SARS-CoV-2 virus on all types of surfaces, providing you with the confidence that the cleaning methods used in your working environment are effective.

The swabs provided are used to sample exposed surface areas such as in office spaces, communal areas (e.g. canteens, toilets, vending machines), production lines, medical facilities, vehicles and general public areas.

Once swabbing is complete, the samples are sent to the laboratory in the secure packaging provided.
