About the One Day Understanding Leather Training Course

This is BLC’s signature leather training course, which is essential to attend if your day-to-day role involves working with leather or leather products.

This course takes you through the leather making process, from raw material to finished product, and the testing that leather products must adhere to before being entered into the marketplace. The course also covers common leather problems and how to prevent them.

About the Half Day Sustainability in the Leather Supply Chain Training Course

For many brands and retailers leather sustainability is of growing importance to customers. In a global marketplace where supply chains are complex, it is vital that brands, retailers, manufacturers, and suppliers work together to create a more sustainable supply chain and to minimise risks to brand reputation.

This half day leather sustainability course covers some of the key aspects of traceability within the leather supply chain as well as chemical management risks, environmental impact, NGO activity and the leather lifecycle.
