Background to Susan Schofer (VP Business Development, Modern Meadow)
Susan Schofer is an experienced product development leader with over a dozen years of industry experience in biotechnology and new materials development.
Prior to Modern Meadow, she spent 10 years of her career in Silicon Valley, where she held roles both in Research and Development, as well as in product development, product management, and commercialization of new materials.
Susan has experience in all aspects of strategic partnerships, including business development, alliance management, and cross-functional team leadership to deliver products from initial ideation to the market.
Susan received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Brown University and her Ph.D. in organometallic and inorganic chemistry from Caltech, and she was a National Science Foundation International Postdoctoral Fellow at Stockholm and Uppsala Universities.
