Leather Brand Bellroy to Speak at Hong Kong Sustainability Conference

Sarah Nichols of Bellory, the Australian-based leather wallet and accessories brand has confirmed that she will be speaking at the Sustainability in the Leather Supply Chain Conference, taking place on 14th March 2019.

Bellroy will be joining the Sustainability in the Leather Supply Chain conference in 2019 to talk about how Bellroy values leather as a core material in its products and the work it does with its suppliers and customers to benefit people, animals and the environment.

This established Australian brand has worked hard to acknowledge and reduce the environmental impact of their products; Bellroy believes that the best way to do this is to work with the industry to improve environmental practices at every stage of the supply chain and to design products that are used and loved for a long time.

About Sarah Nichols

Sarah Nichols was appointed as General Counsel of Bellroy in July 2015.

Bellroy believes that business can be a force for good and is constantly pursuing better ways to conduct its business in the world.  As General Counsel, Sarah is a member of Bellroy’s World Flourishing Committee which oversees all Bellroy’s corporate activities related to environmental sustainability, transparency in the supply chain and human and animal welfare.

Bellroy is a member of the Leather Working Group and, since 2016, Sarah has been the chair of the Animal Welfare Sub-Group.

Sarah has a BA from Trinity College, University of Toronto, an LLB from Dalhousie University and and LLM from Melbourne University.
