Join Eurofins | BLC and APLF on our Hong Kong Leather Training Courses this November
Eurofins | BLC has partnered with APLF to provide three Hong Kong leather training courses taking place in November 2019. These courses will cover the leather making process, mould prevention in leather and sustainability. Delivered by our technical experts, these courses aim to develop the attendee’s knowledge and understanding of leather as a material and the leather supply chain.
With nearly 100 years’ experience in the global leather industry, Eurofins | BLC are well situated in order to provide thorough and engaging leather training sessions to brands, retailers and leather manufacturers around the world. Below we have detailed some further information on these Hong Kong leather courses.
Hong Kong Leather Training Courses
1 Day Understanding Leather
Tuesday 19th November 2019
09:00 to 16:30
As one of our signature courses, this training session aims to enhance the knowledge of the attendee on the fundamentals of leather and the leather production process. This training course is aimed at those needing to develop their understanding of leather, such as buyers, quality control and retail staff.
Half Day Mould in Product
Wednesday 20th November 2019
09:00 to 12:30
Mould is a common problem experienced by leather retailers and manufacturers that can have large financial implications. This course develops the attendees’ understanding of mould, how to investigate it and how to prevent it. With this in mind, our half-day mould course is suitable for anyone who has any input in the storage and transportation of leather goods.
Half Day Sustainability in the Leather Supply Chain
Wednesday 20th November 2019
13:30 to 16:30
Sustainability is widely spoken about within the leather industry and this course covers several important aspects, including traceability, environmental impact, leather types, and chemical management risks within the leather supply chain. We would suggest that this course is attended by anyone who needs an overview of sustainability, for example those that are new to sustainability and roles within corporate social responsibility (CSR).
