One Day Chemical Compliance & Product Safety in the Supply Chain

Chennai, India
7th November 2019


The objective of this course is to provide attendees with an overview of RSL and MRSL obligations within their supply chain. Delegates will be introduced to a number of restricted substances such as Chromium VI, heavy metals and phthalates. These chemicals are restricted in international chemical regulations (e.g. REACH, California Proposition 65) that cover major markets such as Europe and the United States.

  • Due diligence and the importance of testing

One Day Understanding Leather

Our One Day Understanding Leather Course aims to cover the basic fundamentals of leather and the leather production process, from sources of leather through to common defects and finished leather types.

The aim is that following this course, attendees are able to avoid problems with sourcing and specifying leather products and have more confidence when talking with suppliers, manufacturers and tanneries.

The course will cover the following topics:

  • Overview of the leather production process
  • Understanding different leather types and descriptions
  • Common leather problems and solutions
  • Specifications and labelling
  • Sourcing questions and advice
  • Leather aftercare

Half Day Mould in Product

Hong Kong

Mould contamination is an issue experienced by a lot of manufacturers and retailers with often costly financial implications. This course provides delegates with the ability to reduce the risk of mould contamination in their supply chain through gaining knowledge on the causes of mould, how to investigate it and how to prevent it.

If you are involved in the storage and transportation of leather goods, such as designers, buyers or leather technician, this course would be a great opportunity for you to understand more about mould in product.

Half Day Sustainability in the Leather Supply Chain

Sustainability in leather is becoming an important topic for brands and retailers as customers are now more critical than ever in their buying decisions, particularly regarding sustainability. This course will provide an overview of leather types before discussing traceability, environmental impacts and chemical management within the leather supply chain.

The course is great for those requiring an overview of sustainability such as supply chain managers, marketers, buyers and decision makers.
