How Generation Z students view sustainability, leather and the footwear market
In April 2018 Stahl hosted a group of 40 graduate students from the Global Luxury and Management degree, a co-sponsored program by North Carolina State University and Skema Business school (Paris). As part of their working visit to the Stahl Campus training centre, the students were asked about their views on sustainability and the leather industry, both before and after receiving the training.
Michael Costello of Stahl (Lead Sponsor) will be presenting some of the findings at the Leather & Sustainability in Retail Conference taking place this Thursday 15th November in Central London. His talk will report on the graduate’s views, including some short videos on what the students had to say, and discuss what can be learned from their feedback. (Note: “Gen Z” is defined as people who were born on or after 1995).
Join the conference to connect and network with other delegates representing brands, retailers and leather manufacturers from around the world. At the conference, delegates will be given the opportunity to put their questions directly to Michael Costello and other contributors to the event through a panel discussion.
The Leather & Sustainability in Retail Conference 2018 is the ideal place to hear the latest industry thinking on sustainability for leather and other material innovations. If you want to book your place, you will have to secure it quickly as there are only 5 places remaining!
