Andrew Hudson

Managing Director, Eurofins | BLC

Andrew holds a PhD in Chemistry and has worked in the leather and textile value chains for 24 years in a variety of technical and commercial positions.

Andrew has worked on several projects focusing on improving the sustainability profile of materials and successfully supported the development and commercialization of a novel leather alternative material. Andrew has been involved with the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) program for 5 years culminating with a position on the Chemical Suppliers Advisory Group expert sub-team.

 

Rhian Owen

Digital Product Passport Project Co-ordinator,  Eurofins Sustainability Services

Rhian brings a unique blend of academic and practical expertise to Eurofins Sustainability Services, holding a degree in Fashion and Textile Design complemented by a commercial background in textile supply chains. As a Project Coordinator, her role involves in-depth research into emerging sustainable product regulations and supply chain legislation. She particularly focuses on the intricacies of the EU’s Digital Product Passport (DPP) and the AGEC Law.

Dr Vikki Addy

Chief Technical Officer, Eurofins Sustainability Services

Vikki embarked on her journey with Eurofins BLC in 1992, following her academic achievements of a BSc (Hons) in Biology and a subsequent PhD in Biochemistry. Today, as the Chief Technical Officer for Eurofins Sustainability Services, she leads the business unit with a focus on sustainable chemistry, biomaterials, leather, and the development of innovative materials for consumer products. Her expertise particularly shines in the realms of chemical compliance and providing regulatory support throughout the supply chain.

 

Daoudi Ait Hssain

International Business Development Director Europe, Eurofins Consumer Product Testing

In 2018, Daoudi became an integral part of Eurofins Consumer Product Testing, spearheading our business development efforts across Europe. French Textile engineer, he spent time working for retailers in Asia and for TIC industry in various role. He possesses a keen interest in AGEC law and excels in providing tailored Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) solutions for clients aiming to adhere to this legislation.
