Ideal for tannery staff, leather processors, chemical companies as well as those interested in a greater understanding of raw to finished leather processing, this course provides an overview of the whole leather making process in just one day and will be delivered by a Eurofins | BLC leather expert who has many years of commercial tanning and leather manufacturing experience.
By attending this leather processing course, you will gain an understanding of the chemical properties of the leather making process, as well as chemical compliance with various international legislations. This includes a summary of common restricted substances found in both Raw to Tanned and Tanned to Finished leather and how you can avoid them. You will also have the opportunity to review the LWG Environmental Audit Protocol as a guideline for tannery best practice.
