BLC Launches New Chem-MAP Website for ZDHC Approved MRSL Verification
BLC has recently developed Chem-MAP; a new ZDHC approved MRSL verification programme which is designed for chemical companies, manufacturers of materials and brands and retailers in the leather, textiles and synthetic goods sectors.
The BLC Chem-MAP Programme works using a preventative strategy by screening chemical formulations further up the supply chain to ensure conformance to the ZDHC MRSL. This helps to protect downstream supply chain users including consumers, workers and brands, and ultimately the environment from the effects of harmful chemicals.

After positive feedback from various organisations, BLC had developed a new website dedicated to the BLC Chem-MAP Programme:
www.chem-map.com
The Chem-MAP website showcases the bespoke routes which have been developed for:
- Chemical companies (c-MAP)
- Manufacturers of materials (m-MAP)
- Brands and retailers (b-MAP)
Companies in each of the above sectors can engage with the BLC Chem-MAP programme to develop their supply chain by:
- Providing assurance to customers and suppliers that chemicals your business uses are safe
- Improve traceability and transparency
- Develop chemical risk management
- Using Chem-MAP as a competitive tool in the sale of your products (chemicals, materials and finished goods)
The Chem-MAP website also feature MRSL Testing as a core part of the programme which ensures chemical compliance with ZDHC. BLC can carry out MRSL testing to the ZDHC MRSL and to your company’s own MRSL.
