BLC International Leather Courses to be Announced in Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand and USA
International open courses have long been part of BLC's training portfolio, having presented in various cities in the US, Hong Kong and Vietnam over the past few years.
This year, BLC are adding new leather course locations to our international training calendar, which now includes Thailand.
Many companies take advantage of BLC trainers being nearby their offices and book corporate courses. BLC will build corporate leather courses around your company’s needs to ensure your team get the most out of the session. Corporate leather courses can be based on BLC's current leather training courses or something entirely new; it’s up to you.
The following international leather course locations have been confirmed for this year, with more still being finalised:

- Samut Prakan Province, Thailand

One Day Understanding Leather Course
Our signature course which provides delegates with a basic overview of the leather making process. Introducing you to the various leather types and their performance, the process from raw material to finished product, the various global legislations which leather must adhere to, as well as presenting what could happen if a step in the production chain goes wrong.

Chemical legislation can be incredibly varied, depending on material, product and even the region you’re in. This course aims to explain the variations in global legislation, why these legislations are in place and explain in detail your obligations under the legislation to ensure that your products are compliant.

Sustainability is growing in importance for brands, retailers, manufacturers and now consumers. This course aims to cover some of the key aspects of traceability within the leather supply chain and the environmental impacts our industry has, and the appropriate stewardship applied to control this.
