BLC offers a wide range of footwear testing, delivered in 4 days or less, and can test in line with CEN standards on footwear. The footwear testing comprises whole shoe, leather, materials, component and fit assessments.
A significant element of footwear testing is now restricted substances testing and BLC provides all the necessary legislative and ethical tests required in the UK, Europe and the US.
The UKAS accreditation for a range of footwear testing reinforces and demonstrates BLC's competence, impartiality and performance capability in the area of the product testing services sector to meet the needs of manufacturers and retailers.
