The key toxic substances that could be found in leather are:
- Azo Dye testing
- Chrome Vl testing
- Formaldehyde testing
- Heavy Metals (lead, cadmium, chromium, arsenic, antimony, mercury, barium, selenium)
- Nonyl Phenol Ethoxylates (NPEO)
- Chlorinated Phenols
- Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) testing
- Fungicides (incorrect use)
