Strong demand for BLC training in Hong Kong

A series of leather training courses run by BLC and sponsored by APLF Ltd in Hong Kong at the end of May achieved a combined attendance of 62 delegates from the global leather supply chain, including representatives from leather product manufacturers, retailers, import export companies and tanners.

Three courses were held on this occasion :

One Day Understanding Leather, providing an overview of leather production, leather types and descriptions, leather performance, specifications and associated issues.

Half day Mould in Leather Products, a common problem in leather, footwear and other products, mould is preventable and this course offers an insight into the causes and prevention, as well as help and support.

Half Day Product Safety examines the most commonly found banned or restricted substances found in leather, highlighting where these substances may have been introduced in the manufacturing process and how they can be controlled.

Look out for the next series of courses later in the year and ensure that you benefit from the knowledge and expertise BLC offers to the leather supply chain.
