Shoe fit and assessments

BLC offers a comprehensive, technical and commercially focused fit assessment service for both children's and adult footwear, including fits during school holidays. As leather and footwear specialists, BLC are ideally placed to provide this shoe fit and assessment service.
BLC works closely with a number of local schools and nurseries. The model ages range from pre-walkers to 16yrs and incorporate all associated shoe sizes. For each pair of shoes fitted, a minimum of three models will be used, subject to availability. Fits assessments are carried out to UK and European sizing. BLC customers are welcome to attend the nurseries and schools with our trained technicians to observe the fitting process.
The standard turnaround time for fits is 3 working days, with an express next day service available for a premium.
BLC will also be running a new training course in 2011 on leather and footwear testing, including information on foot anatomy, fit demonstrations and practice, as well as a summary of what to look for in a fit and preparation.
