This course provides an insight into the fundamentals of leather finishing. Delegates will learn about different finishing techniques and effects and how leather finishing can be used to improve product performance or produce current fashion and special effects. This course will help understand the origin of common problems such as: why does my leather lose colour or change colour? why does my leather fade? why does the surface crack or peel during use? These and many other questions will be answered along with a two hour hands-on practical session finishing leather. Aimed a quality managers, buyers and designers, this is a perfect course to gain both knowledge and understanding and to assist with communication of problems within the supply chain.
