Dorothea Flockert, Global Project Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility | Sustainability at Deichmann SE
Dorothea has been part of the Corporate Social Responsibility division in Deichmann since August 2015. Her role within sustainability at Deichmann focuses on supply chain transparency, social and environmental audits, and the management of harmful substances.
Deichmann is the market leader in the German and European shoe business. The family owned business was founded in 1913 in Essen, in the Ruhr river area. Deichmann SE is currently active in 24 countries with around 3,600 local shops and employs approximately 36,150 people.
Charles Dickinson, Environmental Sustainability Controller at Primark
Charles Dickinson is the Environmental Sustainability Controller for Primark, with over 20 years’ experience embedding sustainability and environmental strategies within global apparel and footwear brands. Charles joined Primark in 2015, and is responsible for leading the fashion retailer’s sustainability initiatives across its UK and international supply chain.
Primark has been a member of the Ethical Trading Initiative since 2006, and achieved ETI Leadership in 2011; ranking it in the top 5% of member brands. As a Board Member of Zero Discharge (ZDHC), Charles represents Primark and plays a central role in leading 22 global brands towards zero discharge of certain chemicals by 2020.
