Seminars/Training
BLC holds a number of seminars each year for members and non-members. For tanners and chemical companies or those that want to keep abreast of the latest technologies, there are annual technical seminars in the UK, Australia, Mexico and the USA.

For retailers and leather users regular training seminars are held in Northampton. See Training for details.

Publications
Members are kept up to date with the latest research, environmental and business developments through the BLC Journal, Research Reports and Information Documents. Details relating to training courses, seminars, trade shows, legislation and environmental issues are also circulated to members.

Leather on-line
This service, which is available to BLC members only, consists of a technical abstracts database allowing quick access to information via BLC's specialist information centre.

Information centre
BLC has an extensive library of leather related publications, ranging from basic chemistry, physics and biology through tanning and associated processes, to waste disposal and legislation. These are accessible to members.
