Automotive leather testing is conducted to a wide range of different standards depending upon the target manufacturer.

BLC has an extensive database of leather specifications for many car manufacturers.

Specifications include:

Audi, Bentley, CEN, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Mercedes, Nissan, Renault and Volvo.

We can currently offer the full range of leather testing according to the Bentley, CEN, Ford and Volvo specifications.  In addition, we can offer leather testing according to most of the other international automotive manufacturers' leather specifications (with the exception of a few specialist leather tests).

Whilst many of the leather tests (particularly ageing) require long lead times, our aim is to provide a timely and cost effective service to the customer.
