Clients include, Nike, Adidas, Clarks, Mulberry, Anya Hindmarch, Burberry, Coach, Next, Marks & Spencer, IKEA and other well known brands and high street retailers.

We are seeking an experienced commercial chemist to join our growing team.

This post will be dedicated to exploring innovative, commercially-driven concepts based on a wide range of cosmetic-based chemistries to include near to market research dedicated to novel hair and skin treatments. The ideal candidate will have at least five years experience of commercially driven research and development and will have at least a first degree in a chemical science.

The ability to design effective experiments to rapidly evaluate the commerciality of innovations will be required and the right candidate will be self motivated, able to multi-task and work to tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential to this role. The successful candidate will have an enquiring and creative scientific mind and be results driven.

The appointed candidate will be jointly mentored by two industrial scientists with extensive combined experience in hair and skin science and a track record of commercially successful products. Salary commensurate with experience and potential.
